Entrepreneurship: Mountain Creek Cottage Short Term Rental

ROLE: Co-designer and manager

CHALLENGE: Transform and update a 1950’s Catskill cottage into a cozy and functional short term rental.

PROCESS: In 2015 we began renovation on the three-bedroom cottage, adding a front deck and screened porch, expanding the bathroom, removing a wall between the kitchen and living room, updating paint and colors and refinishing wood floors.

OUTCOME: We began rentals through Airbnb in 2016 and have been Superhosts since the beginning. Visit our Airbnb listing.
