UX STRATEGY: AOL MUSIC HOmepage ANALYSIS

ROLE: UX Designer, AOL

CHALLENGE: Perform analysis of AOL Music homepage using traffic data to identify usage patterns and content importance.

PROCESS: Using site traffic reports (three months of data) I identified usage patterns including abandonment, time spent and most frequently clicked to identify highly used content and features. I created a point system to identify content hierarchy by it’s location on the page and then identified how page real estate could be better allocated to highlight frequently accessed content and features.

DELIVERABLE: Presentation to Sr. design leadership with analysis of content placement and recommendations for improved content allocation and placement.
