Qualitative research: US NAVY NKO INTRANET
ROLE: UX Lead, Razorfish.
CHALLENGE: Understand the perception, benefits and limitations of the Navy Knowledge Online (NKO), the Navy’s internal training and education intranet by interviewing a broad range of Naval personnel.
PROCESS: A total of 185 users were interviewed via group, dyad and individual interviews. Both on-shore and off-shore users were interviewed at multiple Naval bases across the US.
DELIVERABLE: Presentation to Sr. Naval officers and Navy consultants. The presentation included specific research findings as well as a set of user personas that would be used to guide future functionality and design decisions.
