QUALITATIVE: Annalect SSO
ROLE: Director of UX, Annalect
CHALLENGE: Identify key issues with the internal SSO (single sign on) application. Since assignment of access privileges to important user tools were spread across multiple hard to use interfaces, users were often not able to access information and data in a timely manner without having to contact tech support.
PROCESS: Interview a small group of users who were responsible for granting permission and access to multiple tools within the tech organization.
DELIVERABLE: Executive summary of findings including the main pain points for users and suggested improvements.
OUTCOME: UI Designers used research findings to create high-fidelity wireframes of a single easy to use interface that allowed admin users to grant and rescind user permissions quickly and accurately. The new interface resulted in 78% fewer requests to tech support.
